The National
High School Musical Theater Awards (NHSMTA) is a celebration of
musical theater talent from high
schools around the country. Performers, as well as educators
and theater programs are recognized
for their contribution
and commitment to the next generation
of the musical theater community. Alex was able to
participate in NHSMTA by
being selected as Best Actor, from among
22 high school productions spanning three counties in southern California,
by the John Raitt Awards for Youth (JRAY) program sponsored by
the Fullerton Civic Light Opera.
