Ingredients:
2 Tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
1 cup peeled and finely minced yellow onion
2 Tbsp very finely chopped fresh rosemary
2 lb ground turkey
2 lb ground beef
1 Tbsp coarse salt
1 Tbsp freshly ground black pepper
3 cups coarsely grated cheese of your choice
Directions:
1. Heat oil in a small skillet over low heat. Add onion and rosemary; cook
until soft and sweet,
about 10 minutes. Let onion mixture cool a bit, then put in a
large mixing bowl with turkey,
beef, salt, and pepper.
2. Combine ingredients thoroughly. Divide mixture into patties. Place 2 Tbsp
cheese on one patty;
place other patty on top, pinching edges together. Repeat
with remaining patties.
3. Preheat grill to high. Cook burgers 5 minutes on one side; flip, then cook
until burgers are
browned and firm, about 4 minutes.
4. Serve on buns with all your favorite fixings.
